Petro marine Egypt took part in building tug boat series N48, N49 at Alexandria shipyard. This type of Tug is a powerful, maneuverable, and quick harbor tug with minimal crew, minimal size and very low maintenance requirement making it one of the best vessels suitable for work in the ports. This is the most efficient small ship handling tool in the world today.
- Classified as standby and service ship and it is capable of towing other floating vessel

- It is powered by two main engines of 1920 KW power each, and propelled by two Voith Schneider propellers
